Nick Ainis
President & CEO
Nick Ainis is the principal of the organization and carries a Bachelor of Technology degree in Architectural Science and Project Management, from Ryerson University. As principal, he has a solid track record for timely completions and excellence in construction and has developed a reputation as one of the industries finest high-rise residential project managers and leaders in construction. During his 20+ years, he has managed many major construction projects under difficult and demanding conditions. He has a strong background in both low rise and high rise multi-unit residential projects with elaborate common area facilities.
As principal, Nick provides support with design and construction related issues as well as overall project management. Nick’s extensive experience with the means and methods of construction contribute in the design development process by comparing Architects’ goals with the realities of the construction industry. Also, Nick has developed very close and unique relationships with our trade personnel which gives us a competitive edge and value. He would be fully involved in the project at all stages.

Jim Ainis
Principal & Vice President
As the co-founder of Fusioncorp, Jim brings added strength and stability to the organization by focusing on resource procurement, human resources, direct construction and contract management. With a background is in business administration, sales, and marketing, Jim places a high degree of focus on maintaining efficient control over accounting and reporting issues including monthly draws and payments to sub-contractors, and financial reports to owners. For Jim, risk management is his foremost priority. From ensuring proper insurance coverage and arranging surety bonding where required, to negotiating amicable union relationships and executing the company’s all-important safety policy, Jim’s efforts ensure ongoing operational and financial stability for Fusioncorp.
In addition to his corporate responsibilities, Jim directly manages the general contracting division, be it condo refurbishment and restoration, contemporary commercial interiors, or stunning custom homes. Many of these projects operate under a design-build framework and Jim works closely with owners, designers, engineers and architects to synergize the project with owners’ needs, criteria and constraints—from tight schedules and restrictive work sites to all manner of logistic challenges and, most notably, budgetary concerns.
